Il et elles expliquent comment, pour privilégier l’ancrage territorial tout en assurant son assise financière, l’association a fait le choix de se consacrer principalement à la formation. Il et elles décrivent le fonctionnement de l’équipe, l’évolution de la situation locale et constatent la déliquescence des réseaux institués par la génération précédente et l’apparition de formes ressenties de ségrégation sociale entre les différent·es acteurs et actrices, les « néo-limousin·es » d’une part, et « ceux et celles du cru » d’autre part. Pour débloquer cette situation, Pivoine œuvre avec d’autres partenaires à la fédération des forces vives du territoire, dans une culture de coopération et des espaces de coordination locaux permanents ou thématiques. L’apport particulier de Pivoine à ces espaces réside dans la transmission et l’actualisation des outils de l’éducation populaire et de l’analyse institutionnelle. Les membres permanent·es de Pivoine sont ainsi actifs et actives dans les différents groupes de travail du territoire sur des questions très variées : accueil des exilé·es, eau, soutien psychologique, question foncière, coopérations avec le Planning familial, etc.). Pour prolonger ces efforts, Pivoine « héberge » actuellement, avec d’autres structures locales, le processus de construction d’un organisme territorial de formation généraliste afin de répondre aux nouveaux besoins en la matière qui apparaissent sur le territoire. Ces dernières années, la succession des crises (nationales ou internationales) a impacté l’association dans son investissement dans les missions qu’elle s’est donné. Dans ce contexte il s’agit d’avancer par l’expérience et l’échec, de se projeter sans programme préétabli. The authors present the history of Pivoine, an association initially devoted to supporting the creation of activities in rural areas before dedicating itself fully to popular education and training. They explain how, in order to give priority to territorial anchoring while ensuring its financial basis, the association chose to focus primarily on training. They describe how the team works and the evolution of the local situation. Moreover, they state the decay of the established social networks set up by the previous generation and the emergence what is perceived as forms of social segregation between the different protagonists among the population, that is, the ‘neo Limousin inhabitants’ and the ‘locals’. In order to unblock this situation, Pivoine works with other partners to federate the protagonists engaged in the territory, relying on practices of cooperation and spaces of permanent or thematic local coordination. Pivoine’s particular contribution to such spaces lies in the transmission and updating of the tools of popular education and institutional analysis. Pivoine’s permanent staff are thus active in the various working groups in the area on a wide variety of issues: welcoming exiles, water issues, psychological support, land issues, cooperation with Family planning...). To extend these efforts, Pivoine, together with other local organisations, is currently ‘fostering’ the construction process of a generalist, territorial training organisation in order to meet the new training needs that are emerging on the territory. In recent years, the succession of (national or international) crises has had an impact on the association’s involvement in the missions it has set for itself. In this context it is a question of moving forward through experience and failure, of projecting oneself without a pre-established programme.
